The mission of the FABC Seniors Ministry is to ensure the active participation of senior adults in the life and work of the church and to provide community needed services such as “Have A Heart Sunday” and special outings and guest speakers. –
Titus 2:2-3 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. 3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things.
Local outreach opportunities are key ministry opportunities to spread the love of Jesus within or outside our community by serving and connecting with people. First African Baptist Church believes in impacting the community that we are a part of. All of our ministries serve the community in one way or another. Our ministries serve our community by providing meals to bereaved families and the less fortunate, partnering with a local high school to provide needed items, and encouraging local government agencies to lend a hand in our community. Our annual Vacation Bible School also ministers to children in our community by sharing the Gospel while providing food, fun and fellowship in a safe, loving environment
