The mission of FABC's Children's and Youth ministries is to raise up the next generation of Christian disciples by teaching and training this present generation's children and youth. - Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." 

 

The mission of FABC is to be "The Church in the Comunity For the Hearts of the Community".  In keeping with the FABC four-fold vision for achieving her mission, Proverbs 22 provides a biblical framework for guiding the work of our Children's and Youth ministries.  We want to develop children and youth who are:

• HOSPITABLE

  • Respectful and Receptive of ALL Peers and Adults - Proverbs 22:2

• HOLY

  • Transformed by Age Appropriate Biblical Instruction - Proverbs 22:17-21

• HEALTHY

  • Socially Responsible Decision-makers - Proverbs 22:1, 8 11, 14, 24-25

• HELPING

  • Engaged in Community Outreach and Missions - Proverbs 22:9, 16, 22-23 

 

 Community Outreach Projects

 The Children and Youth are given the opportunity to do several community outreach and service events throughout the year for example, feeding the homeless, free car wash for individuals of the community, etc.

 

We held our 4th Annual "SPEAK PEACE TO VIOLENCE" Rally that concluded with a Peace Walk through the Westend Community.  It was a great day and Thanks to everyone who participated!
